The Constitution

I've been trying to avoid writing about politics, as I almost feel I've said too much already, but I read something in the NRA magazine last night that won't let me alone.

"The problem with what the president is doing is that he's not simply posing a danger to the constitutional system. He's becoming the very danger the Constitution was designed to avoid."

(Jonathan Turley; Georgetown University law professor, as quoted by NRA president, Allan D. Cors in "president's column, American Rifleman, March 2016, Vol. 164, No. 3)

I'm not sure that I even need to explain what he's talking about, but in case I do, try the term "executive order"!

I'm not even going to comment further. I am just going to post this quote as is.

Thanks for sharing this moment with me today.
